  • What days and hours are you open?

    The Hyde Park Food Pantry is open the first four Fridays per month, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. The Gates close at 11:15a.m. Guests who have come through the gates before 11:15 will be served. We close on the 5th Friday of the month except for those who have not been to the pantry that month. Please call us if you are in tha

    Our physical address is 4337 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538, which is the former Regina Coeli School building. To get to the pantry from the Albany Post Road, proceed down Harvey Street to the bend in the road, cross to the gate and follow the signs.

    The Hyde Park Food Pantry is closed whenever Hyde Park Central School District has a 2 hour delay or a closure due to inclement weather. Their website is located at https://www.hpcsd.org/.

  • Who is eligible to receive food from the Food Pantry?

    Households within the Hyde Park Central School District can register with the Hyde Park Food Pantry, and those not within the Hyde Park Central School District are allowed a One Time Visit.

  • Do I need to fill out any forms?

    Yes, upon registration during your first visit, a member of the Food Pantry will ask you a few questions on an intake form. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, the form can be filled in with unidentified information.

    The information is kept private. PLEASE NOTE: These profiles and any information collected are kept on file with software provided by the Regional Food Bank of NENY. Your information will not be shared or seen by anyone who has not received confidentiality training and has been confirmed by the Regional Food Bank.

    • *What paperwork do I need to bring after the first visit?

    • No one is required to show ID or Proof of Residence at their first visit. Proof of Residence and Photo IDs for adults in the home are required after the first visit.

*Proof of Residence (street address) within the Hyde Park Central School District (not a PO Box) Also, proof of address for each person residing in the home for whom food will be provided.

Why do we need Proof of Residence? Since we are providing food for the residents of Hyde Park Central School District, we want to assure that we primarily serve this community. Others may arrive and will receive a one-time service and will also receive a referral to other local pantries. The Proof of Residence assures continued service to the school district residents. We will accept a variety of documents supporting residency. Feel free to speak to the person conducting registration at your first visit if you require more information.

Also, a Photo ID is required for every household member who is age 18 and older.
